Meet Rachelle
Rachelle Litt is a dedicated public servant, healthcare professional, and 37-year resident of Palm Beach Gardens with a long-standing commitment to serving the city she calls home.
A native of Philadelphia and graduate of Temple University School of Pharmacy, Rachelle has built a distinguished 46-year career in pharmacy, with experience as a pharmaceutical representative, retail pharmacist, and, most recently, as a hospital pharmacist at Saint Mary’s Medical Center and Jupiter Medical Center. She is also a licensed Florida Consultant Pharmacist, expanding her capacity to deliver specialized pharmaceutical care.
In 2017, Rachelle ran for Palm Beach Gardens City Council in a hard-fought race and runoff election, where she earned a decisive victory. In 2020, she was re-elected unopposed—a testament to the community’s trust in her leadership. She was appointed Mayor of Palm Beach Gardens in April 2021. After a three-year hiatus from City Government, Rachelle is running to bring her experienced, thoughtful leadership back to City Hall.
Throughout her tenure, Rachelle focused on responsible growth, fiscal responsibility, environmental stewardship, and improving the quality of life for all residents.
Rachelle is running because the decisions we make today will shape the future of our city for generations to come. Now more than ever, Palm Beach Gardens needs experienced, steady leadership—leadership that understands where we’ve been, sees clearly where we’re going, and knows how to get us there responsibly. Leadership rooted in experience, accountability, and a deep understanding of our community’s values and needs. Rachelle is that leader, and she’s ready to continue the work of keeping Palm Beach Gardens the exceptional city we all love to call home.
Rachelle lives in Palm Beach Gardens with her husband, Dr. Jeffrey Litt. They have three children and three grandchildren who inspire her every day to continue building a city that serves all generations.
Endorsements
Ruth’s List Florida is excited to announce our latest endorsement — Rachelle Litt for Florida House District 94!
Rachelle is an experienced public servant and is no stranger to winning tough races. Her common sense beliefs and Democratic values awarded her votes from both sides of the aisle in 2017 as a member of the Palm Beach Gardens City Council. Soon after, she was appointed Vice Mayor and then Mayor by her City Council colleagues. She has worked to confront issues that spur job creations and support small businesses, protect constituents’ tax dollars, and curate ways to alleviate the local impacts of Florida’s housing crisis. Rachelle’s grassroots experience dates back to President Barack Obama’s re-election campaign, Congressman Patrick Murphy’s U.S. House and Senate races, and both Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden’s Democratic National Conventions. Most recently, she was selected to be a member of President Joe Biden’s Transition Healthcare Equity Policy Team in 2020.
